Even though I was hugely pregnant and not motivated to do much, Halloween still held my attention and we had fun doing costumes this year. Max, of course, wanted to be a Lego man. The kid is obsessed! After a couple failed attempts, we got this done at the 11th hour and he loved it (which is all that matters)
Our inspiration (lucky for me he didn't pick something too outrageously complicated!)
Jayne requested Strawberry Shortcake. She has (and loves) a couple of my old Strawberry Shortcake books from when I was a girl, so we definitely wanted to go old-school Strawberry. So fun to see Jayne with red hair :)
I can't tell you how many times (on separate occasions) someone said, "Lucy looks just like Cindy Lou Who" So I thought, "Why not, let's do it!" So Lucy Lou Who it was.
Little Lucy Lou Who, no more than two
And just for fun, even though my son Charlie wasn't born yet, I thought he should get a costume too!
Seriously Lou??? You have a gift....really, you do! These costumes are so cute! That Lego man? Genius! Strawberry? The cutest ever! And Lucy Lou who with her dog Max....you thought of all the detAils....and I gotta love that baby wanting nothing more than to get here;) I got some funny looks for sure when I pulled that one off..ha! Way to be an awesome mom!
